Teachers interested in talking about and sharing ideas on Assessment for Learning are invited to chat in this forum. The two BCELC webcast discussions, October 1 and January 21, are both here, as is a forum for general discussion, questions, and ideas that work in implementing AFL in our classrooms.

This is a place for the eight teachers involved in the Six + 1 Traits Learning team to check the calendar, share lesson ideas and feedback and share resources that improve student writing.

This forum provides a spot for Literacy team members to share ideas, ask questions, post learning sequences, share resources, and connect with other members on the literacy team.

Our learning intentions:

1) I can expand my professional learning by networking with colleagues who are also committed to literacy learning

2) I can share and use literacy practices in my classroom that increase student achievement

3) I can act as a literacy leader in my school and district by modelling good literacy practices and leading by example, by sharing resources and ideas with other teachers, and by working with the district literacy team

The Rural Schools Strategy has a terrific lineup of Rural Pro-D, all delivered online through Elluminate each Monday from 3:30 - 4:30 pm.
